Four goalkeepers have been shortlisted for the Goalkeeper of the Month award for September 2025, following impressive performances. The nominees, selected by the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, are Abdul Ganiu Mohammed of Karela United, Benjamin Asare of Hearts of Oak, Lawrence Osei of Heart of Lions, and Kwame Aziz of Vision FC.

Abdul Ganiu Mohammed had a solid month, keeping two clean sheets and conceding just one goal in three matches, with his side remaining unbeaten.

Benjamin Asare stood tall for Hearts of Oak, recording three consecutive clean sheets—two at home and one away—as his team secured two wins and a draw.

Lawrence Osei was impressive, producing two clean sheets while conceding only one goal, contributing to Heart of Lions’ perfect record for the month.

Kwame Aziz also earned recognition after keeping two clean sheets in September. Despite conceding four goals across three matches, he played a crucial role in his team’s one win, one draw, and one defeat.

The winner will receive a prize package from the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, including a pair of gloves, a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
