Flitz Marcus Schmid has been named Ghana Premier League Coach of the Month for the first time since taking charge of defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars FC earlier this season. The Swiss tactician edged out strong competition from Nurudeen Amadu of Karela United, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani of Hearts of Oak SC, and Nana Kweku Agyemang of Vision FC to claim his maiden award in the league.
Schmid enjoyed an outstanding month, guiding Bibiani Gold Stars to an unbeaten run of three wins from three league matches. His side scored six goals while conceding just one, a performance that has propelled them to second place on the league table, just one point shy of the leaders.
In recognition of his achievement, Coach Flitz Marcus Schmid will receive a 43-inch NASCO television and a NASCO double-door bottom-freezer refrigerator, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited.
