In a tense and tightly contested battle at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, the Greater Accra region was crowned the undisputed champion of the Elite U15 Championship after defeating the Brong Ahafo region in a nerve-shredding penalty shootout.

After a gruelling 70 minutes of football, the highly anticipated final ended deadlocked at 0-0. Both sides displayed immense tactical discipline, defensive solidity, and flashes of attacking brilliance, but neither could find the decisive breakthrough, sending the match directly to penalties to determine the winner.

It was from the penalty spot that Greater Accra showcased their champion’s mentality. With ice-cool composure, they converted all five of their kicks, applying immense pressure on their opponents. The Brong Ahafo lads fought valiantly, scoring four of their five attempts, but it was not enough to stop the relentless accuracy of the Greater Accra squad.

The Greater Accra team’s triumph completes a perfect campaign, as they won all five of their games during the tournament and took home the trophy. Their victory in the final, which was completed in the most spectacular way imaginable, solidifies their place as the top U15 squad and completes an ideal and remarkable campaign.
