Excitement is already building ahead of the 2025 Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship following the official unveiling of the group stage pairings. The week-long tournament will take place from August 25 to 31, 2025, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram.

The draw has placed defending champions Volta Region in Group A alongside Greater Accra Region, Northern Region, Upper East Region, Western Region, and the GFA Elite U15 Academy in Kumasi, which is currently based at Prempeh College, where the boys combine secular education with intensive football training.

In Group B, last year’s runners-up Ashanti Region will battle Brong Ahafo Region, Central Region, Upper West Region, Eastern Region, and the GFA Elite U15 Academy based in Winkongo in Bolgatanga, the Upper East Regional capital.

This year’s edition is historic as it marks the first participation of the GFA’s two Elite U15 Academies in the championship.

The academies were established to nurture young talents across the country and provide them with both quality education and professional football grooming. Their inclusion adds a new competitive edge to the tournament, ensuring that the best of Ghana’s youth talents will be on display.

With defending champions Volta Region aiming to defend their crown, Ashanti Region seeking redemption after last season’s narrow miss, and the debut of the two elite academies, the stage is set for an electrifying competition that promises drama, skill, and the discovery of future stars for Ghana football.

The Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship continues to reaffirm the Ghana Football Association’s commitment to grassroots football development, ensuring a solid pipeline for the future of the national teams.
