The final day of competitive fixtures at the 2026 GFA Elite U15 Boys Championship produced another round of exciting results at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, with Elite Academy – Prempeh College recording one of the biggest victories of the day.

On Pitch 1, the Eastern Region secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Northern Region. Kingsford Sakyi scored the only goal of the game with a spectacular bicycle kick that is certain to be among the goals of the tournament. His outstanding strike and overall performance earned him the Player of the Match award.

The second fixture saw the Ashanti Region edge Elite Academy – Achimota SHS 1-0. Abdallah Mashood delivered an impressive display for the Ashanti side and was deservedly named Player of the Match.

The final game on Pitch 1 ended with the Volta Region defeating the Northern Region 1-0. Lawrence Amedzogbe produced a stunning long-range effort that could well contend for Goal of the Tournament. His match-winning strike and influential performance earned him the Player of the Match accolade.

On Pitch 2, the Greater Accra Region recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory over the Upper West Region. Samuel Owusu emerged as the Player of the Match after a commanding display that helped his side secure all three points.

Elite Academy – Prempeh College then produced the biggest win of the day, thrashing the Upper East Region 4-0 in an impressive attacking performance that underlined their quality throughout the championship.

In the final fixture of the day, the Central Region continued their fine run of form with a 2-0 victory over the Brong Ahafo Region. Peter Kofi Addo once again proved decisive for his side and was named Player of the Match following another influential display.

The conclusion of Tuesday’s fixtures brings an end to the competitive phase of the championship. The tournament will officially conclude on Wednesday with a special showcase match involving two select teams made up of the best performers identified during the competition.

The championship, organized under FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme (TDS), has once again provided a valuable platform for identifying and nurturing some of Ghana’s most promising young football talents.
