The Ghana Football Association proudly announces that Emmanuel Lawson, eFootball Manager of the Ghana National Team, the Black Asteroids, has been awarded a FIFAe Coaching Certificate at the FIFAe Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, held from December 17 to 19.

The certificate was officially presented at the summit after Lawson successfully completed the FIFAe Referee course through an extensive online programme undertaken over a period of time. He becomes the first FIFAe Lincesed Coach in Ghana’s esports ecosystem.

The course is designed to equip esports officials and administrators with in-depth knowledge of FIFAe match regulations, officiating standards, fair play principles, and the application of the laws of the game within competitive eFootball.

The FIFAe Referee Certificate places Emmanuel Lawson among a select group of certified professionals qualified to support and oversee esports football competitions at the highest level. His achievement strengthens Ghana’s technical capacity in eFootball governance and
officiating, aligning the country with global best practices.

Speaking on the milestone, Lawson noted that the certification would contribute significantly to improving professionalism and competitive integrity within Ghana’s eFootball ecosystem.

The Ghana Football Association congratulates Emmanuel Lawson on this achievement and commends his commitment to advancing eFootball development in Ghana.
