Draw for Inaugural WAFU A&B U-20 Cup Ghana 2025 Takes Place in Abidjan

The much-anticipated draw for the maiden edition of the WAFU A&B U-20 Cup Ghana 2025 will take place on Friday, May 30, at the headquarters of CAF West Zone B in Abidjan. The draw ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 AM local time and will determine the preliminary groupings for this historic regional youth football championship.

A total of 13 national U-20 teams from across West Africa—representing both WAFU Zone A and Zone B—will be participating in this groundbreaking tournament. The competition marks the first time that both zones are combining forces to organize a joint youth football competition, showcasing the next generation of talent from across the sub-region.

The WAFU A&B U-20 Cup Ghana 2025 will be hosted in Accra, Ghana’s capital, from June 15 to June 30, 2025. The tournament is expected to attract scouts, fans, and football stakeholders from across the continent and beyond, serving as a crucial platform for talent development and regional integration through sport.
