Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has come under fire from sections of the club’s fanbase despite the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, with some supporters arguing that the Dutchman doesn’t deserve to be starting games for the club.
Ryan Gravenberch came on as a substitute for Trey Nyoni at the 62nd minute mark as Andoni Iraola attempted to protect a two-goal lead early on in the second half. However, the midfielder couldn’t make the most of the opportunity as he put up a display that left a lot to be desired.
