Los Angeles Dodgers analyst Doug McKain argued that Shohei Ohtani playing through injury and the club allowing it will go down as the biggest reasons the team fails to complete a three-peat. McKain’s point is that the Dodgers are competing without the production of their best players in the NLCS.
McKain works for Dodgers Nation, where he hosts “Dodgers Dugout Live” and co-hosts “DMAC & Reiter” on LA radio station 97.1 Fan. Ohtani is the Dodgers’ designated hitter. Left knee and right biceps problems limited him for months. He has not pitched since July 3.
