Real Tamale United recorded a hard-fought 1-0 home win over TF Exponential FC, closing the gap on city rivals Tamale City FC at the top of the Zone One A table. Wisdom Jonas Manyina scored the winning goal in the 27th minute to secure all three points for the former Premier League side who have now amassed 32 points, five behind the league leaders.

Leaders Tamale City were held to a 1-1 draw away to third-placed Wa Power SC at the Malik Jabir Stadium. Emmanuel Amamu put Wa Power SC ahead in the 58th minute from the penalty spot, but Mohammed Musah Salifu struck a fine equaliser in the 76th minute to earn Tamale City FC a valuable point.

In Zone One B – Debibi United FC continued their impressive form with a commanding 3-0 victory over struggling Mighty Royals FC. Osman Zackaria opened the scoring in the 69th minute, Ibrahim Alhassan doubled the lead five minutes later, and Osman Zackaria completed his brace in the 80th minute. Debibi United FC have now amassed 41 points after Matchweek 17 (W13, D2, L2), the highest total across all three zones.
