Arun Jaitley Stadium Pitch Report

The pitch at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is generally considered to be a batting friendly one, but in IPL 2026 the case has been a little different. The venue has hosted six matches this season so far, and the results have been contrasting. In one match, 529 runs were scored, whereas in one of the matches, DC were bundled for 75 runs. So, this promises to be an exciting contest.

DC vs RR Strategies and Match-ups

The two teams are facing each other for the second time this season. The Capitals are entering this contest after a crucial win over Punjab, where they chased down the target of 211. They will need to rack up wins in their last two games if they are to make it to the playoffs.

RR, on the other hand, are entering this contest with two back-to-back defeats. So, a win is a must for them to have a strong chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Their openers, especially Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, can take the game away in the powerplay itself, but will have Mitchell Starc up against him from DC.
