Atlanta Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has suffered a setback ahead of the team’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran signal-caller sustained a concerning injury during Thursday’s practice, leaving his availability for the Week 1 game in significant doubt.
According to reports, Tagovailoa appeared to be experiencing discomfort in his oblique during individual throwing drills. He briefly went to the ground after a series of throws, touched his side or back, and did not continue throwing in the portion of practice open to the media.
