Portugal’s head coach Jorge Jesus has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo can no longer play every game as he used to. Jesus added that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s physical condition will determine whether he starts against Norway.
However, he also said Ronaldo’s work rate and consistent performance in the training ground could determine his starting role against the Norwegians. Jesus added that he and Ronaldo have a common understanding regarding his game time, saying (via OJOGO):
