The Football Association  hereby formally notifies Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC and all relevant stakeholders that the Club Licensing process for participation in the CAF Women’s Champions League 2026/2027 season has officially commenced.

In accordance with the CAF Women’s Club Licensing Regulations 2022, all clubs seeking participation in the CAF Women’s Champions League are required to obtain a valid Club License issued by their respective Member Association.

Accordingly, Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC must fully comply with the CAF Club Licensing criteria in the following areas:

– Sporting
– Infrastructure
– Personnel and Administrative
– Legal
– Financial

The entire licensing process for the 2026/2027 season shall be conducted exclusively through the CAF Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP).

The Ghana Football Association further wishes to draw the attention of Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC to the mandatory coaching qualification requirements stipulated by CAF.

Under the regulations:
– Head Coaches must have a Minimum CAF “A” Licence or other sister Confederation “PRO” coaching licence.

Assistant Coaches must have a Minimum CAF “B” license or other sister Confederation “PRO’’ coaching license.

Additionally, all coaching certificates and supporting documentation must be uploaded onto the CAF Competition Management System (CMS) as part of the official registration process for the competition.

The Ghana Football Association emphasizes that the Club Licensing process is mandatory and time-bound. All relevant documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements must be duly completed within the stipulated timelines, with final submissions to CAF expected on or before 30th June, 2026.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC are therefore advised to engage proactively with the GFA Club Licensing Department to ensure strict adherence to all CAF requirements. Failure to satisfy the prescribed criteria shall render the club ineligible to participate in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Ghana Football Association counts on the full cooperation of all stakeholders in ensuring a smooth, transparent, and compliant licensing process.

For further clarification and guidance, kindly contact the GFA Club Licensing Department.
