Candy Soccer Academy and Supreme Ladies both picked up maximum points to maintain their perfect records in the Regional Championships ongoing in Tamale. Candy Soccer proved too strong for visitors Chiewia Ladies, recording a comfortable 3-0 win. The Dormaa-based side’s pressure paid off in the 21st minute when Sumaya Sulley put the ball into her own net. Priscilla Nyarko and Yaa Nichelle struck within two minutes of the restart to seal a 3-0 victory for the hosts.

Supreme Ladies and Dakpemah Ladies thrilled fans with exciting football at the Tolon Astro Turf. Supreme came into the fixture off a 2-1 win in their opening match. Ruth Ayayee’s long-range effort from the edge of the box gave the hosts the lead in the 17th minute.

Dakpemah Ladies pushed for an equalizer and got it through Ummul Khaira in the 22nd minute. Supreme Ladies responded within minutes when Gifty Wepia capitalized on a defensive blunder to restore the lead. Monica Afriyie scored on the stroke of halftime to give the Kumasi-based side a 3-1 advantage going into the break. Both teams pushed for goals in the second half, but neither could find the net.

Nasara Ladies and Bolga Sharp Arrows battled it out in the final game, with both sides creating chances. Bolga Sharp Arrows took an early lead when Joyce Awane scored from a free kick. Hadija Sayibu drew Nasara level, but Awane struck again with a long-range effort before halftime to restore Bolga’s advantage.

After the restart, substitute Rukaya Abdul Karim scored late to secure a crucial 3-2 win for Nasara Ladies. The Regional Championships return to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
