BREAKING NEWS: In the immediate aftermath of a sweep of the blood rival Yankees, which brought the Red Sox over .500 and created more good vibes than even Brian Wilson ever did, Rafael Devers attacked manager Alex Cora with a fork and threatened to release his private copy of the Epstein Files, which reportedly includes incriminating evidence against most of the Red Sox front office.
Or, at least, that’s what I assume must have happened, because otherwise I’m at a loss to explain this:
The San Francisco Giants are acquiring Rafael Devers from the Boston Red Sox for Jordan Hicks, Kyle Harrison and more, according to sources familiar with the deal.

Yes, Rafael Devers — the face of the franchise, who currently sits ninth in the American League in wRC+ — has been traded to the Giants for a package headlined by a pitcher who currently has a a 6.47 ERA.
It’s past 7 PM on Fathers Day and I would be annoyed to work right now under any circumstances. Given these circumstances, I’m pretty pissed off.
I don’t know what this team is doing. They better hope that they do.
