The Black Starlets have arrived in Côte d’Ivoire for the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations. The team departed Accra on Monday after weeks of scouting, training, and conditioning at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Led by former Asante Kotoko and WAFA Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh-Ogum, Ghana is seeking to make an impression in the tournament by qualifying for the next edition of the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana is paired in Group A alongside host Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Niger.

Ghana will open their campaign against Togo on Saturday, September 20, at 6:00 p.m. Their second group fixture will see the Black Starlets face the host nation, Côte d’Ivoire, on Tuesday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m., before wrapping up the group stage with a clash against Niger on Friday, September 26, at 3:00 p.m.

The 2025 WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations, which serves as the official qualification competition for the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, will take place in Yamoussoukro from Saturday, September 20, to Friday, October 3, 2025.
