Head coach of the Black Maidens Joe Nana Adarkwah has declared his side fully prepared and hungry for victory ahead of their upcoming clash with Togo, insisting that World Cup qualification remains the team’s cherished legacy.

“Concerning our preparation, everything is going on well,” the coach stated. “We’ve been there for almost one month, two weeks. Things are going very, very well. So we are okay with everything.”

Despite admitting they do not yet know much about the Togolese opponents, the coach struck a fierce tone: “We are coming to the game like wounded lions. Because Maidens, our legacy all the time is to qualify to the World Cup. So we want to follow that footstep. We are going to win the match and qualify to the next stage.”

He revealed that both players and technical staff are in high spirits. “We are happy here in terms of everything. Our technical staff are happy too. So we can’t wait to get into the World Cup. We are going to take every match seriously and get there.”

The coach also acknowledged the faith supporters have in the team. “We know they have trust in Maidens, and we are going to make it for them to be happy.” he added.
