Chelsea have offered Barcelona €75m to take Fermin Lopez to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to El Chiringuito (via Football Espana). The 22-year-old enjoyed a stunning campaign with the Catalan side, registering eight goals and 10 assists from 46 games.
However, Lopez is not a guaranteed starter under Hansi Flick. With an intense competition for places in the German manager’s squad, the Spaniard’s future is up in the air this summer.
Chelsea have invested in talented young footballers in recent windows and have now set their sights on Lopez. The Blues are even willing to pay a massive fee to prise him away.
However, the report adds that the player is settled at Camp Nou and has no desire to leave at the moment. Lopez is under contract with Barcelona until 2029.
Barcelona are ready to allow Clement Lenglet to permanently join Atletico Madrid this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo. The French defender spent last season on loan with Atletico Madrid, and it now appears that Diego Simeone wants him back.
Lenglet finished the campaign with 34 appearances across competitions, all but two of which were starts. The 29-year-old is under contract with the Catalans until 2027, and the club were previously hoping to secure a nominal fee on his exit.
