ATP player Tallon Griekspoor recently slammed Alexander Zverev’s US Open final against Ben Shelton as ‘mediocre’. The Dutch star called out the top seed for his excessive ball bouncing before each serve and admitted that he had a ‘hard time’ watching the match.
Zverev and Shelton both displayed some incredible tennis en route to the final of the US Open. Their summit clash got off to a strong start for the German, as he clinched the first two sets 6-3, 7-6(2). However, Shelton staged an impressive comeback in the third set, claiming a 7-5 win, before Zverev eventually sealed the deal 6-2 in the fourth set.
