Medeama SC is set to take on rejuvenated Dreams FC in the Premier League at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium in Tarkwa on Friday night.

The Mauve and Yellow slipped two places down the league table (7th) after suffering a 1-0 defeat at Hearts of Oak in their previous league match(W1, L3).

They’ve scored the joint most goals in the league ahead of the clash (27) and conceded 23. The Mauve and Yellow are the fifth best home performers in the league and will be eager to snatch the maximum points on Friday.

In-form Dreams FC’s Premier League season continue to go from strength to strength as they trip to Tarkwa on the back of an impressive five-game winning streak without conceding in four of those games.

The Believers are behind the host in the league table (8th) with 36 points, having scored 17 and conceded 17.

Abdul Karim Zito’s men head into this fixture on the back of two successive wins at Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions and are the sixth best away performers in the league prior to this fixture.

Medeama SC have played Dreams FC four times at home in the league since 2020/21 season with Medeama SC winning two, drawing one and losing one.

In the 2020/21 season, Medeama SC beat Dreams FC 2-0, lost 0-1 in the 2021/22 season, won 3-2 in the 2022/23 season and recorded a goalless draw in the 2023/24 season.
