Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has defended the club’s sporting director Jason Wilcox, who was the subject of criticism from Lisandro Martinez last week.
After the Red Devils’ 2-0 loss against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Martinez launched an attack on the decision-makers at Old Trafford. The Argentine opined that Wilcox must be held accountable for not showing enough ambition to strengthen the Manchester United squad in the summer transfer window.
