Alejandro Davidovich Fokina picked up the biggest title of his career, winning the Shanghai Masters 1000 crown on Sunday. He beat compatriot Rafael Jodar 1-6, 7-6(5), 6-4 in a marathon tussle to lift the trophy.
The Spaniard was understandably emotional after the win. His emotions came to the fore during the post-match press conference, when he was asked about his plans going forward. At that point, the 27-year-old revealed that he had been away from home for over a month and was looking forward to reuniting with his family.
