The 2026 NBA offseason has seen several established players sign deals well below their previous salaries. LeBron James stands out, taking a reported $3.88 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers after earning more than $52 million with the Los Angeles Lakers last season.
Despite being in his 40s, James will likely outperform the salary he is earning and isn’t the only player who will do so this season. Many players also have the experience and production but have signed salaries that look like bargains.
