Tennis legend Roger Federer was at the centre of the storm after Arthur Fery and Ignacio Buse were named as the alternates for Team Europe and Team World, respectively. The ninth edition of the Laver Cup will commence in London at The O2 on Friday, with two young talents waiting for their opportunity to shine.
Fery has joined Team Europe, led by captain Yannick Noah and vice-captain Tim Henman, comprising Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Flavio Cobolli, Rafael Jodar, Jakub Mensik and Casper Ruud.
