Alexander Zverev is revelling in a dream season, ending a 13-year-long Grand Slam drought with a famous title win at the 2026 French Open. He added icing on the cake when he silenced the home crowd in New York to clinch the US Open crown.
His memorable 6-3, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-2 win over Ben Shelton at Flushing Meadows was soon overshadowed by his long second serve routine. A 25-second shot clock exists for the first serve, however no such rule is applicable for second serve.
