Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe has doubled down on his claim about him being the most deserving player to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or ahead of Lamine Yamal. The Frenchman opined that he wants the coveted award to return to Real Madrid because the club’s fans ‘deserve it more than anyone’.
The winner of the 2026 Men’s Ballon d’Or award will be announced on October 26 during the gala held in London. Mbappe and Barcelona rival Lamine Yamal are among the leading contenders to win it. Both players have also publicly expressed why they deserve to win the honor this year.
