Supreme Ladies continued their dominance after defeating former Premier League side Candy Soccer Academy 3-0 to remain unbeaten.

Monica Afriyie opened the scoring for the Kumasi-based side with a long-range shot in the 21st minute.

Candy Soccer Academy dominated possession for a few minutes after going behind but were not able to find a breakthrough against a well-organised Supreme Ladies defence.

Anna Foriwaa Thompson scored to double the lead for Supreme Ladies before halftime.

Ellen Nefaabon scored after the recess to take the game beyond Candy Soccer Academy.

Despite late pressure from the Dormaa-based club, Supreme Ladies held on to their lead to stay unbeaten. Bottom of the table, Chiewia Ladies battled it out with Bolga Sharp Arrows in the second game of the day. Chiewia went into this fixture without a point or a goal.

Ayisha Issah scored the first goal in the competition for Chiewia Ladies in the 15th minute after great team play.

Bolga Sharp Arrows came in strong in the second half and their efforts yielded results when Romina Adombila scored to draw her side level.

Both teams created goalscoring chances but failed to convert them as the game ended 1-1. Nasara Ladies and Dakpemah Ladies played out a nerve-wracking match in a local derby.

A tightly contested first half saw both sides unable to break the deadlock, with the scoreline remaining 0-0 at the interval.

A disciplined defensive display in the second half saw Nasara and Dakpemah Ladies play out a goalless draw after missing great goalscoring opportunities.
