Zone Two leaders FC AshantiGold ’04 delivered a powerful statement on Sunday with a commanding 4-0 away victory over Sefwi All Stars at the Juaboso Mampiobo Town Park. Richmond Fosu put the visitors in complete control before halftime, striking twice in the 10th and 35th minutes to hand FC AshantiGold ’04 a comfortable two-goal advantage at the break. After the restart, Fosu calmly completed his hat-trick in the 66th minute before forward Raphael Ankamah added the fourth goal just four minutes later to crown a dominant display. Fosu was deservedly named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance. The result moves FC AshantiGold ’04 three points clear at the top of the table with 43 points from 21 matches.

Meanwhile, Ebusua Dwarfs kept the pressure firmly on the leaders with an emphatic 3-0 win over former Premier League side King Faisal at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. The victory ended King Faisal’s impressive five-game unbeaten run (W4, D1). Godfred Eshun opened the scoring in the 26th minute, while Seidu Tijani doubled the advantage in the 58th minute. Eshun then sealed the convincing win with his second goal in the 89th minute, earning him the Player of the Match award after a superb brace. Ebusua Dwarfs now have 40 points in the league.

Elsewhere, newly promoted Nsuopun Fidelity FC climbed to third place in Zone Two after grinding out a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Sekondi Eleven Wise at Gyandu Park. Samuel Osei Kofi’s stunning first half strike proved decisive as Nsuopun Fidelity secured maximum points on the road. They have now accumulated 38 points this season and sit just five points behind the league leaders, keeping the title race wide open.

Here are the results in Zone Two:
