Bibiani Gold Stars strengthened their title credentials with a commanding 3-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at Dun’s Park, cutting the gap at the top of the Premier League to five points.

Razack Sanou opened the scoring before Arthur Justice doubled the lead minutes later, with Kumi Attah sealing a dominant performance in the second half.

The result keeps Gold Stars firmly in the title race while Basake Holy Stars remain dangerously close to the relegation zone.

There was late drama at the Tuba Astro Turf, where Karela United snatched a dramatic 1-0 win over Dreams FC through Ali Alhassan’s stoppage-time strike. The late winner ended Dreams’ impressive home unbeaten run and lifted Karela into seventh place, while Dreams slipped further down the standings amid growing relegation concerns.

Hohoe United reignited their survival hopes with a crucial 2-1 victory over Nations FC at the Hohoe Stadium.

Early goals from William Oduro and Lawson Bekui proved decisive, ending Hohoe’s eight-match winless streak and providing a timely boost in their fight to avoid relegation.

Berekum Chelsea also boosted their survival chances with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Heart of Lions. Prince Anane’s early penalty and Jonah Attuquaye’s second-half strike secured maximum points, despite a late response from the visitors.

Meanwhile, Swedru All Blacks secured a vital 1-0 win over FC Samartex 1996, with Zayat Bubakari converting a decisive penalty. The victory provided breathing space in the relegation battle and marked an encouraging start under new leadership.

In Bechem, Bechem United continued their strong home form with a narrow 1-0 victory over Young Apostles, courtesy of Augustine Okrah’s second-half strike. The win strengthens Bechem’s push away from the drop zone while deepening Young Apostles’ survival worries.
