President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku led the Black Stars technical team on a visit to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital on Monday, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community.

He was accompanied by Otto Addo, Assistant Coaches Desmond Ofei, Kim Lars Björkegren, Alain Ravera, and Technical Advisor Winfried Schaefer. Chief of Staff Michael Osekre and Director of Communications Henry Asante Twum were also present.

The team’s visit to the hospital was a testament to this belief as they walked through the maternity ward, meeting new mothers and their babies.

“This hospital occupies a special place in our hearts,” President Simeon-Okraku said, his voice filled with emotion.

“We’re here to show our gratitude and support for the incredible work being done here.”

During the visit, President Simeon-Okraku and the Black Stars technical team interacted with staff and patients, distributing gifts and offering words of encouragement.

“We want to draw attention to the needs of this facility and remind everyone that no support is too small,” he urged, appealing to the public to support the hospital.

The visit highlighted the power of football to bring people together and make a difference in the community. For President Simeon-Okraku, it was a chance to express gratitude to the hospital staff, new mothers, and everyone working to make Ghana proud.
