Former Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs continued their impressive run this season, recording a fourth consecutive clean-sheet victory by edging struggling UCC Youngsters 1-0 away at the Robert Mensah Stadium. After a goalless first half, Emmanuel Osei converted a stoppage-time penalty to secure a dramatic win for the visitors. The victory lifts Ebusua Dwarfs to second place in the Zone Two table with 32 points from 16 matches, just two points shy of leaders FC AshantiGold’04.
Meanwhile the leaders – FC AshantiGold’04 saw their three-game winning streak end after being held to a 1-1 draw at home by struggling Soccer Intellectuals in a tightly contested match at the Len Clay Sports Stadium. Despite Soccer Intellectuals finishing with ten men, the hosts were unable to secure all three points, missing the chance to extend their lead. FC AshantiGold’04 remain top of the table with 34 points from 16 matches.

In-form Sekondi Rospak SC climbed to fifth place in Zone Two with 28 points following a 2-0 victory over Sefwi All Stars FC at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium. John Amoah opened the scoring in the 41st minute, with Derrick Junior Asare doubling the lead four minutes later, sealing the win before halftime.
