Jonina Ladies capped off an impressive December in the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League by sweeping the NASCO Electronics Player and Coach of the Month awards. Agnes Yeboah won Player of the Month for December after a string of commanding performances that proved pivotal to Jonina Ladies’ success.

Yeboah stood out for her energy, consistency, and influence on games, combining defensive discipline with attacking intent to drive her side forward during the period under review.

Completing the double for the club, head coach Joseph Osei Owusu was adjudged Coach of the Month, a reward for his tactical organisation and effective team management.  Under his guidance, Jonina Ladies recorded strong results in December, displaying cohesion, discipline, and a clear playing identity.

The NASCO Electronics monthly awards, celebrate outstanding performances by players and coaches across the league and continue to play a key role in promoting women’s football in Ghana.

With both the Player and Coach of the Month honours secured, Jonina Ladies will be aiming to build on their momentum as the season progresses, firmly establishing themselves as one of the teams to watch in the 2025/26 campaign.
