India vs New Zealand 1st ODI Match Playing 11, Full Squad: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will once again be in action in India colours as the Men in Blue host New Zealand for a 3-match ODI series with the first starting on Sunday at Vadodara. The last time these two sides met in an ODI was back in the final of the 2025 Champions Trophy where India defeated the Kiwis to win the title. With skipper Shubman Gill and vice captain Shreyas Iyer recovering from injuries, the top 5 of the Indian lineup is set. Coming lower down the order, the hosts might give a chance to Nitish Kumar Reddy, a player who hasn’t played for them since the 2nd ODI match vs Australia in October of last year. Rishabh Pant would be a decent shout too but it looked like the Indian keeper suffered a knock during training which might work against him. IND vs NZ 1st ODI Match Pitch-Weather Report Meanwhile, in the bowling department, with the return of Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna will likely give way as India are likely to go for 3 pacers with the other two being Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. In the tweaker category, it’ll be a toss-up between Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar with the former likely to get the nod. Predicted XIs India: Shubman Gill (C), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul (WK), Shreyas Iyer (VC), Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh. New Zealand: Devon Conway (wk), Will Young, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell (c), Josh Clarkson, Kristian Clarke, Kyle Jamieson, Aditya Ashok, Michael Rae. IND vs NZ Squads India: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill(c), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Washington Sundar, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja New Zealand: Devon Conway(w), Will Young, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell(c), Zakary Foulkes, Nick Kelly, Josh Clarkson, Michael Rae, Kyle Jamieson, Mitchell Hay, Adithya Ashok, Kristian Clarke, Jayden Lennox
