The outstanding managerial performances of Joseph Osei Owusu of Jonina Ladies and William Afoakwa of Ampem Darkoa Ladies have earned them nominations for the NASCO Coach of the Month award for December in the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
Both coaches enjoyed flawless months, guiding their respective teams to maximum points from three league matches, underlining their tactical efficiency and squad management during a highly competitive period.
Joseph Owusu masterminded an impressive run for Jonina Ladies, recording three wins from three matches without conceding momentum at any stage. His side displayed tactical discipline, cohesion, and attacking intent, reflecting the coach’s growing influence and strategic clarity.
Similarly, Ampem Darkoa Ladies head coach William Afoakwa continued his side’s strong campaign with an equally dominant December. Darkoa Ladies claimed three wins from three outings, with Afoakwa’s team showing balance across all departments.
The December Coach of the Month race presents a tightly contested battle between two tacticians who have set high standards for excellence in the league.
Winner of the monthly award goes home with a 40″ NASCO digital satellite TV and a 150-litre chest freezer.
