Black Starlets head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has praised his team’s resilience and tactical discipline after their 2-0 victory over Nigeria in the semi-finals of the WAFU B U17 Boys Championship on Tuesday evening. The win sealed Ghana’s place in the final and secured a ticket to next year’s U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Speaking to the media after the match, Dr. Ogum expressed delight at the way his players executed the game plan.
He further commended the team’s improved conversion rate, something he had consistently emphasized throughout the tournament.
