Women’s football development in Ghana is set for another big stage as the Elite U-15 Girls Championship 2025 kicks off from 5th to 11th October 2025 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.

The highly anticipated tournament, which forms part of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, will bring together some of the country’s brightest young female footballers from all regions to showcase their skills, passion, and potential.

This year’s competition has drawn twelve teams, split into two competitive groups.

* Group A features: Greater Accra Region, Northern Region, Upper East Region, Volta Region, Western Region, and Eastern Elite B.

* Group B will see Brong Ahafo Region, Central Region, Ashanti Region, Upper West Region, Eastern Region, and Elite Academy Bolgatanga battle it out.

The championship is expected to serve as a vital platform for talent identification, offering budding female footballers the opportunity to be scouted for future national teams while gaining valuable competitive exposure.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with FIFA, is committed to #FindTrainDevelop the next generation of women football stars, and this tournament plays a crucial role in that journey.

Beyond competition, the championship will also help inspire more young girls across the country to embrace the game and fuel the growth of women’s football.

With regional pride and individual brilliance at stake, fans can expect thrilling football, raw talent, and unforgettable moments as these young players chase glory while dreaming of professional and international careers.

The countdown is on — October 2025, it’s coming!
