The second batch of the Free License D Coaching Course for Colts Club coaches in the Western Region is set to start later this month.

The program will run from Sunday, 28th September to Friday, 3rd October 2025 at the Bibiani Duns Park, offering grassroots coaches a golden opportunity to enhance their skills and qualifications at no cost.

This initiative forms part of the GFA’s broader strategy to improve youth football development nationwide by equipping Colts coaches with the modern knowledge, techniques and certifications required to train and nurture young talents.

The course will cover key areas including player development, tactical awareness, coaching ethics, and safety, with experienced CAF and GFA-certified instructors facilitating the sessions.

The first batch of the Free License D course received massive participation and positive feedback from coaches across the region.

With the second batch set to roll out, the GFA is confident that more young players in the Western Region will benefit from improved coaching standards at the grassroots level, ultimately strengthening the future of Ghana football.
