The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed the retention of Joe Nana Adarkwa as Head Coach of the national U-17 women’s team, the Black Maidens. The experienced trainer will continue to lead the technical direction of the team as it prepares for upcoming international assignments.

Coach Adarkwa will be supported by Basiru-Deen Sumani and Edna Quagraine as Assistant Coaches. Former Ghana international James Nanor has also been named as the Goalkeepers’ Trainer, bringing his vast experience to the development of the team’s shot-stoppers.

The Welfare Officer role will be held by Hannah Nunoo, while Abane Benedictus will serve as the team’s Video Analyst. Dr. Portia Fosu leads the medical team as Team Doctor, supported by Lorraine Arko as Team Nurse and Elizabeth Taylor as Physiotherapist.

Notably, Edna Quagraine and Kesewaa Ofori Austin are the new additions to the Black Maidens’ technical setup, strengthening the team’s capacity ahead of its forthcoming competitions.

The Ghana Football Association remains committed to ensuring that the Black Maidens receive the best technical and medical support to prepare them adequately for their international duties.
