GFA eFootball: WondhakidGH & Medicinemustshine crowned Console Champions at eTrophy 2025

The  Football Association has successfully concluded the eFootball Console 2v2 category of the GFA eTrophy 2025, held on Saturday August 23, 2025, at the GFA Conference Room in Accra.

The competition featured 16 of Ghana’s top console teams, showcasing electrifying action, tactical brilliance and high-level teamwork as players battled for supremacy in the prestigious tournament.

After a series of thrilling battles, the duo of WondhakidGH & Medicinemustshine emerged as champions, earning their place in Ghana’s national eFootball team, the Black Asteroids.

They were closely followed by King_K & Atunaye, who finished as first runners-up, while ScradadaGamer & NERSTOPiPIN secured third place. With their performances, all three duos have officially earned spots in the Black Asteroids squad, which will represent Ghana at the FIFAe World Cup Regional Qualifiers in September 2025.

Road to the FIFAe World Cup

With the national team now officially formed, the Black Asteroids will undergo intensive training and preparation ahead of the FIFAe World Cup Regional Qualifiers in September 2025. Their mission is to qualify for the FIFAe World Cup Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this December, where they will face off against the best eFootball nations from across the globe.
