After posting victories in their respectively round-one fixtures, PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy stepped out for their R32 games on Wednesday at the BWF World Championships 2025 at Paris.

Sindhu was up against Malaysia’s Karupathevan Letshanaa (WR40) and despite an early wobble, she recovered well to wrap up the fixture in straight games.

Additionally, there was doubles action for India as well on Wednesday.

The mixed doubles pair of Dhruv-Tanisha progressed in their R32 outing after easing past Ireland’s Joshua Magee and Moya Ryan (WR80).

Elsewhere, the star Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwik-Chirag (seeded 9th) overcome a late hiccup in the first game before steamrolling the Chinese Taipei pair of Liu-Yang (WR23).

Meanwhile, it was curtains for Rohan-Ruthvika who went down in straight games to 4th seeded Malaysian pair of Chen-Ton in the mixed doubles event.
