The Central Regional Football Association is set to host an exciting two-day U-17 Championship at the Enyan Abaasa AstroTurf, bringing together promising young talents from across the region. The tournament will run from Thursday, July 31 to Friday, August 1, 2025, and is aimed at promoting grassroots football development in the region.

The competition will feature selected U-17 teams placed into two groups, with the group stage matches scheduled to be played throughout Thursday and the early part of Friday. The top teams from Group A and Group B will then advance to the much-anticipated grand finale.

The championship decider is slated for 3:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025, and is expected to draw the attention of scouts, football administrators, and local fans eager to witness the future stars of Ghanaian football in action.

According to the Central Regional FA, the tournament forms part of its broader agenda to unearth and nurture talent while giving young players a platform to showcase their potential in a competitive and professionally managed environment.

The Enyan Abaasa AstroTurf, known for its modern facilities and quality playing surface, will serve as a fitting venue for this developmental showcase. Organizers have assured that all logistical and medical arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth and safe tournament.
