Black Satellites stars Aziz Misbau and Ishmail Addo have been named in the Best XI of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship, following their standout performances throughout the competition which took place at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, Ghana.

Captain Aziz Misbau capped off a brilliant individual campaign by finishing as the tournament’s Goal King, netting three goals and providing two assists. His attacking prowess proved vital for the Black Satellites, with his leadership on and off the pitch drawing praise from fans and pundits alike. Aziz also scooped two Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, underlining his consistency and influence in Ghana’s bronze medal finish.

Midfield maestro Ishmail Addo was another key figure in Ghana’s campaign, dictating play from the heart of midfield with vision, composure, and tactical intelligence. Though he registered just one MVP award, his overall impact was immeasurable, providing the balance between attack and defense and often serving as the engine of the team.

The duo’s inclusion in the Team of the Tournament is a testament to their hard work, technical quality, and the progress of Ghana’s youth football setup. Their recognition also adds to Ghana’s growing list of rising talents gaining continental exposure and accolades.

Ghana finished third in the tournament after defeating Niger 2-0 in the bronze medal match, with Aziz Misbau scoring both goals to seal the win.
