The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, and the Executive Council will meet with executives of the Women’s Premier League clubs on Monday, July 21, 2025, to review the 2024/25 season and deliberate on plans and priorities for the upcoming campaign.

The annual review meeting will be held with the support of Vice-President Mark Addo and Executive Council member Gifty Oware Mensah.

The engagement will provide a platform to review the 2024/25 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season while laying the groundwork for a successful 2025/26 campaign.

The agenda for the meeting will cover a broad range of issues, including the implementation of updated Women’s Premier League regulations, which will come into force at the start of the 2025/26 season.

The session will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the key achievements and challenges from the past season, review club compliance with league standards, and assess the impact of initiatives introduced to support the growth of the women’s game.

The 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is scheduled to commence on October 31, 2025, and will run until April 27, 2026.

The meeting is expected to foster shared understanding, reinforce policy alignment, and ensure all stakeholders are prepared for the upcoming season.
