The hosts’ victories against China and Japan were hard fought, while the one against Kazakhtsan was ideal to help ease the nerves.
But on Wednesday night, India came up against a determined Korea side, the defending champions.
Despite their rich pedigree at the continental level, the Koreas have appeared a tad bit fragile so far. Indicative of this was their 1-4 defeat to Malaysia.
That said, on Wednesday, despite going down to an Indian goal, they fought back, took the lead and pushed India on the brink.
