The stage is set for a thrilling climax to the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GA RFA) Women’s Division One League as Oak FC, the female side of Hearts of Oak, take on Sissamba Ladies in the much-anticipated Champion of Champions match. The encounter is scheduled for Sunday at 1:30 PM at the McDan Sports Complex in Teshie.

Both teams earned their places in the final after emerging winners of their respective zones in the 2024/25 GA RFA Women’s Division One League. The Champion of Champions clash will determine the overall regional champion and crown the best women’s Division One team in Greater Accra.

Oak FC, backed by the rich tradition of their parent club, have been a dominant force throughout the season, combining tactical discipline with attacking flair, and eventually qualifying for the Women’s Premier League. Their opponents, Sissamba Ladies, have equally impressed with their resilient performances and well-organized play.

This match is expected to draw considerable attention from the local football community, as it not only celebrates excellence in women’s football but also marks a significant step in the development of the women’s game in the region.

GA RFA officials have promised a well-organized event, with fans encouraged to show up in numbers to support the growth of women’s football. The McDan Sports Complex is expected to buzz with excitement as both clubs go head-to-head for regional bragging rights.
