Bayern Munich’s chief executive officer, Jan-Christian Dreesen, said Michael Olise could be the next player from the Bavarian giants to win the Ballon d’Or after Harry Kane, and that Bayern intend to keep him long enough to try.
Kane was crowned at the London Palladium on Monday, the first Englishman to win since Michael Owen in 2001. He scored 73 goals in 65 games for club and country during the voting period, 61 of them in 51 Bayern appearances, and finished ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal.
