Harry Kane’s Ballon d’Or win has drawn a sharp response from Lamine Yamal’s family, after the Barcelona winger’s uncle said he felt really bad that his nephew missed out and insisted the teenager is the best player in the world.
Kane, 33, was crowned at the London Palladium on Monday night, becoming the first Englishman to win the prize since Michael Owen in 2001. Kylian Mbappé finished second and Lamine Yamal third.
