Pakistan will pull on specially designed pink jerseys when they meet England on October 25, 2026 in the fourth ODI of the ongoing tri-series at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The gesture is tied to Pinktober, the global breast cancer awareness month, and has been arranged through a formal partnership between the Pakistan Cricket Board and Pink Ribbon Pakistan.
The match will carry a clear public health message throughout the day. England’s players, match officials and commentators have been asked to pin pink ribbons to their clothing as a show of solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. Pink-branded stumps will be placed at both ends for the duration of the game, and awareness messaging will run on the stadium’s giant screens and LED perimeter boards from the first over to the last.
Pink Ribbon activities at Gaddafi Stadium are set to begin two hours before the first ball is bowled on October 25, giving spectators time to engage with the campaign before play gets under way.
What awareness activities are planned around the match?
The host players will feature in specially produced video content designed to highlight the importance of early breast cancer diagnosis and to direct the public towards available screening services. The videos are part of the broader campaign the PCB has launched with Pink Ribbon Pakistan, which focuses on early detection, regular screening and timely treatment.
The Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital in Lahore will provide free breast cancer screening for fans on October 24 and October 26, covering the day before and the day after the match. Supporters attending the tri-series will therefore have a direct route to medical services connected to the campaign on either side of the fixture.
Limited-edition pink-themed merchandise, including travel polo shirts and fan shirts, will go on sale through the PCB’s official retail store and online platforms from October 19. The merchandise is intended to keep the awareness message in circulation well beyond the boundary rope.
Where does this ODI sit in the tri-series schedule?
The October 25 fixture is the fourth ODI of the tri-series involving Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka, with all matches in the tournament being staged in Lahore. The final is confirmed for October 31 at the same venue, meaning the pink jersey match arrives at a stage when each side will be pushing hard to secure their place in the decider.
The tri-series format ensures that all three teams will have met each other before the October 31 final, so the England fixture carries genuine competitive weight alongside its significance as a platform for the breast cancer awareness campaign. The combination of a high-profile match and a nationally recognised health initiative gives the PCB and Pink Ribbon Pakistan a wide audience for their message.
