Nico Williams’ agent, Felix Tainta, has opened up about the failed move to Barcelona in 2024. He claims that the failure to guarantee him minutes was the key reason why the transfer fell through.
Speaking on Los Fulanos podcast, Tainta said that Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and PSG were also interested in signing Williams in 2024 after the EURO 2024 win. He confirmed talks with Barcelona, admitting Athletic Bilbao were angry with the Catalan side, though they were kept updated.
